Take a morning flight from Chengdu to Xining. In Xining, visit the Li Meng Pedestrian Street and bath or rest at hourly hotel before boarding the renowned Qinghai-Tibet train to Lhasa.

Day 3

Transfer to Lhasa city

Upon arrival in Lhasa train station, a driver will greet you at the station, and provide transfer to Lhasa city.

Accommodation :

Once you reach the city center, you will check into your hotel to rest. To better acclimate to the high-altitude climate, it is recommended not to wash your hair or take a shower that night.

Lhasa vity tour

Potala Palace

You will visit the world-renowned Potala Palace, which is situated on Marpo Ri Hill in the center of Lhasa. It is a palace-like architectural complex that stands as a witness to the history of Tibet.

Jokhang Temple

The Jokhang Temple, also known as Tsuklakang, holds a history of over 1300 years and occupies the supreme position in Tibetan Buddhism. It is the most magnificent architectural structure in Tibet.

Yamdrok Lake Viewpoint

In the eyes of Tibetans, yamdrok lake resembles a turquoise earring scattered by a goddess among the peaks. With an elevation of 4441 meters, the lake's water is crystal clear and smooth as a mirror.
